The begining

So my first blog. Its a bit daunting, but here goes.
This is the life and times of a girl looking to be all things rockabilly as well as a domestic goddess in the house. But into social times both of these are very hard to achieve.

I hate how society says that a modern woman needs to have a career and work everyday of her life, because if you stay at home and cook, clean and raise babies your repressed by men.
Well I hate to tell everyone out there but they have it all wrong. I would kill to stay at home all day and do this. I know what your thinking, how is a girl raised in the 21st century even thinking like that. I saw what my Mother went through trying to live up to these expectation and not once did I ever see her content and happy. I don't want to live like that. The women of the past have no idea how easy they had it not having to go out and work, as well as cook and clean when they got home.


As for my prospects of living the rockabilly dream, they're limited. I live in a tiny town, which hasn't quite gotten to the stage of accepting the different subcultures of the modern time. The only rockabilly store we have in town is soo expensive it's not funny.


Anyway I'm off now. I don't think I went too bad for my first time.
