Happy Halloween

To celebrate this wonderful event of Halloween, we had a party last night. And being the domestic goddess that I am, I cooked up a storm in the kitchen.

We had the witch fingers and monster eyes cookies. The blood dipped cocktail glasses were a big hit. Then came out the 113 double sizes jelly shots with Halloween lollies in them. Well that set the party mood then. For a back yard shing dig, I think everyone had a really good time. I took my hosting duties very seriously, making sure everyone had a drink in hand or at least another jelly shot.

One of guests, John brought a nice present for everyone one to enjoy. Vodka infused gummy bears. These were the hit of the party. Slimy but strangely satisfying.

Naturally everyone came dressed up in costume. I was a dead bride, complete with my own wedding gown. My best friend Shae completed the picture by coming as my very own zombie bridesmaid with the same dress she had to wear to my wedding. We had rodeo clowns, convicts, Vikings, Gothic Alice in wonderland, bumblebee, and some mixtures I just can't explain.
About half way through the night, while all the party goers were full at it, I started cooking the Bat Wings (marinated chicken wings) and Human Testicles (chicken and garlic balls). They went like a bat out of hell....Hahaha.

To end a fantastic night all the guest then helped clean up and put furniture away before heading out clubbing. All in all I think it was a great night.
